Outreach and Educator Research Experience

The Robotics and Automation Outreach Program (RAOP) connects university research experience with STEM teaching in schools through guided inquiry-based learning.

Robotics and Automation Outreach Program

RAOP is supported by the NSF Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, Research Experiences in STEM Settings, Award 2503860. Educators investigate robotics and automation through two weeks of virtual work and one week of supervised laboratory experience.

The goal is to adapt this learning for courses, curriculum units, after-school activities, and clubs.
